Welcome back to True North II! One of the original vessels operating through the Kimberley in the 1980s, the vessel has spent recent years sailing through Indonesia. The vessel has been kept in pristine condition and will undergo a soft refurbishment in January 2023 in preparation for the 2023 season beginning in April.
True North II was originally purpose-built to explore the Kimberley, so the same level of adventure cruising will return. 22 guests will be given the opportunity to do ‘what they want, when they want’ with multiple adventure boats able to whisk guests away to those beautiful river systems and waterfalls. True North has always offered the highest level of adventure travel and will feature an onboard helicopter on most cruises.
All 11 cabins feature en suites or private facilities. The Explorer Class Staterooms include large panoramic windows, and River Class Cabins a large panoramic window or two port holes. Both cabin types offer queen-size beds. The Ocean Class Cabins include a large porthole and roomy bunk configured singles.
Why we loved our Luxury Kimberley Cruise on True North II...
"It fills me with nothing but excitement for the return of True North II..."

My cruise recollections of True North II go back to the early 2010s when one of my Kimberley Collection colleagues cruised on the vessel. Nothing but praise for the passionate staff, incredible off-vessel excursions and superb food.
Knowing the way True North have operated for the last 25 years, it fills me with nothing but excitement for the return of True North II.
With True North II being given a soft refurbishment, this will ensure a Kimberley cruise adventure of the highest level.
