Like the other ships in the PONANT EXPLORERS series, Le Soléal has been designed to provide absolute comfort for its passengers, even at the heart of the world’s most remote regions.
Beneath the ship’s racy lines you’ll discover a world-first – an underwater multi-sensory lounge that allows a unique view into what lies underneath the surface of the sea. Nestled in the hull of the ship and with a whale-inspired curved design, the main attraction can be seen through two curved portholes that showcase the underwater world in real time.
Passenger comfort is assured with lift access to accommodation and communal areas.
There are two dining options catering for formal table service and casual dining and al fresco dining is available. With stunning State rooms featuring private terrace spaces Le Soléal offers luxury cruising at its finest.
Why we loved our Luxury Kimberley Cruise on Le Soléal...
"... offered us all the trimmings of a five-star experience..."

Ponant has a world-wide reputation for an exquisite style of cruising, and Le Soléal certainly offered us all the trimmings of a five-star experience on our Kimberley cruise. After a day of excursions there is nothing better than to have a refreshing dip in the swimming pool with a complimentary drink from the bar!
Although this is an ‘expedition cruise,’ the onboard facilities are exquisite and will not leave you disappointed. From the modern staterooms with private balconies to the panoramic restaurant, observatory, the theatre to watch your favourite movie, and several lounges to relax and enjoy a drink. For those of us who like to stay in touch with the outside world, wifi is also included throughout. I can honestly say the Le Soléal catered to all our needs.
Suites and Staterooms
Le Soléal features six cabin categories across 132 staterooms, including three Prestige Suites. Among these, there are 40 deluxe cabins that can be combined into 20 suites, each offering two bathrooms and a separate living area along with the bedroom.
